Electrician invoice generator for Belgium
Create a Belgian electrician invoice for troubleshooting, installation, lighting, distribution boards, outlets, cabling, testing, labour, materials, emergency work and warranty notes. Add the job address, circuit or board detail, service date and VAT treatment.
Electrical work should identify the installation area clearly. In Belgium, ordinary taxable work starts from 21% VAT, but qualifying renovation or repair work to a private dwelling over 10 years old can use 6% in certain cases.
What a Belgian electrician invoice should include
- Electrical business name, address, enterprise/VAT number, contact details and payment details.
- Customer, billing address, job address, room, board, circuit or installation area.
- Job reference, quote, purchase order, service date and electrician or technician.
- Troubleshooting, labour, cable, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, testing and certificates on separate lines.
- Warranty notes, customer-supplied fittings and any inspection or report reference.
- VAT amount, reduced-rate renovation note or reverse-charge wording where relevant.
VAT and immovable works
FPS Finance lists 21% as the standard VAT rate. For works on immovable property, renovation or repair to a private dwelling over 10 years old can qualify for 6% in certain cases.
If the electrical work is supplied B2B as immovable property work to a customer filing periodic VAT returns, reverse charge can apply. Keep the customer VAT status, address and invoice wording clear.
Testing, materials and site detail
Name the affected board, circuit, room, fixture or installation area. Separate testing, inspection or reporting from labour and materials so the customer can connect the invoice to the technical deliverable.
