How each Gibraltar Budget changes your take-home income

Gibraltar's tax year runs from 1 July to 30 June, and the Budget is typically delivered in June or July each year, just before the new tax year begins — so changes announced then usually apply from the very next pay period. This calculator lets you compare your net income before and after a Budget's announced changes.

The July 2026 Budget, covering the current 2026/27 tax year, confirmed no change to income tax or social insurance rates, but did raise personal allowances by an amount not yet fully published, and increased the social insurance contribution caps by 5% compared with 2025/26. Corporation tax was reconfirmed at 15%.

What this calculator lets you check after a Budget

  • Any change to the personal allowance used in the ABS calculation
  • Whether social insurance rates or contribution caps have moved — the 2026/27 caps rose 5% versus 2025/26
  • Any change to the corporation tax rate, currently 15% since 1 July 2024
