Print and scanning tips

Keep a clear quiet zone around linear barcodes. Do not place borders, text or images too close to the bars. If the size is wrong, regenerate the barcode rather than stretching it unevenly in design software.

Use dark bars on a light background for the most reliable scanning. Test printed labels on the final material, especially when using thermal printers, glossy stock or small product packaging.
